Job Description:

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Solutions Administrator to lead and support the deployment, management, and administration of enterprise mobile devices and related services across our organization. This position plays a critical role in ensuring secure, streamlined mobile operations using platforms such as Microsoft Intune, Apple Business Manager, VMware Workspace ONE, and carrier services through Verizon.

In addition to technical responsibilities, this role coordinates with a third-party telecom partner to manage corporate mobile phone contracts, service plans, and billing. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in enterprise mobility, a user-focused approach to support, and a solid understanding of mobile carrier operations and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and support enterprise mobile devices using Microsoft Intune, Workspace ONE, and Apple Business Manager

  • Provision, deploy, and configure iOS and Android mobile devices for new and existing employees

  • Oversee device lifecycle management including enrollment, replacement, retirement, and compliance

  • Manage Apple Business Manager integration and supervise Apple device deployments

  • Setup app deployments and maintain associated Okta groups

  • Work with Verizon to coordinate orders, activations, number transfers, and issue resolution

  • Serve as the primary liaison to a third-party telecom vendor to oversee mobile contract administration, device procurement, plan optimization, and billing reconciliation

  • Maintain and audit mobile device inventory and user assignment records

  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for mobile-related issues, including hardware/software troubleshooting and policy enforcement

  • Collaborate with IT security and operations teams to maintain compliance and protect sensitive mobile data

  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation, user guides, and support materials

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in a mobile device management, telecom administration, or enterprise IT support role

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Apple Business Manager, Workspace ONE, and iOS/Android device management

  • Solid knowledge of mobile carrier operations and working with enterprise carriers like Verizon

  • Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party telecom services

  • Strong customer service skills and a user-first mindset for device deployment and support

  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator, VMware Digital Workspace, or Apple certifications)

  • Experience with telecom cost control, inventory auditing, and policy enforcement

  • Familiarity with mobile security best practices and compliance standards
