Job Description: Position Summary: The Supervisor, Loss Mitigation oversees the loss mitigation team responsible for the collection, recovery, and resolution of delinquent mortgage loans. The incumbent ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, investor guidelines, and credit union policies while working to minimize financial risk and assist members in finding sustainable repayment solutions. The Supervisor, Loss Mitigation provides leadership, coaching, and performance management to the loss mitigation team, monitors workflow efficiency, and drives process improvements. Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of Loss Mitigation Specialists to ensure effective and compliant collection and loss mitigation practices.
- Monitor department performance, set goals, and provide regular feedback to ensure productivity and efficiency.
- Oversee the management of calling queues, ensuring timely and effective communication with members regarding past-due mortgage loans.
- Review and approve forbearance requests, repayment plans, and other loss mitigation solutions.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for litigation, principal mortgage insurance (PMI) claims, and investor reporting.
- Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly reports on delinquency trends, collection efforts, and loss mitigation outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal departments, external agencies, and investors to ensure alignment with policies and regulations.
- Stay informed about changes in mortgage servicing laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and success rates in loss mitigation efforts.
- Assume additional responsibilities as necessary for the continued growth and advancement of Everwise.

- In-depth knowledge of mortgage lending regulations, foreclosure laws, and investor guidelines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collection management software.
Minimum Requirement:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience in mortgage collections, loss mitigation, or loan servicing.
- Leadership experience supervising a team preferred.
