Finance Administration Job Description
The Campus Finance and Business Services team is seeking a qualified applicant to provide financial analysis and accounting guidance to support the University of Missouri-Columbia campus fiscal staff. We understand the financial data to take a new perspective on existing solutions as needed to support the Vice Chancellor Finance. A successful candidate for this position must understand financial accounting to effectively gather and evaluate financial data, assess compliance with accounting standards, then summarize findings and recommendations to communicate to various audiences within the campus. They must be self-motivated, inquisitive, and proactively solve problems with little oversight. Effective communication and interpersonal skills including tact, courtesy, and cooperative attitude are key in this position as we collaborate with others daily. Key Responsibilities include: Shift
Monday-Friday 40hrs/wk 8a-5p; flexible/hybrid schedule subject to work season & meeting customer service needs Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Accounting or other business related areas. Experience with cost accounting, auditing, or analysis of financial data preferred. Anticipated Hiring Range
