Position Overview
Primary Purpose of Position |
The Assistant Ticket Office Manager will assist the Ticket Office Manager with the supervision and management of the ticket office. To include staffing, cash control, event management and third-party/vendor relations for the campus. The assistant is responsible for managing the ticket office in the absence of the Ticket Office Manager.
In the absence of Ticket Office Manager, the Assistant Office Manager will perform:
- Responsible for the opening and closing of the Ticket Office
- Responsible for daily deposits from the previous day's business being done and dropped to the cashier's office each day
- Responsible for planning operation for all events and hiring appropriate number of staff for each event
- Responsible for administering and managing event staff contract to ensure vendor is complying per contractual agreement
- Responsible for adjusting operational needs and modify or change work schedules to ensure effective performance of all duties and delivery of services based on changing requirements
- Responsible for the hiring of event staff for events and responsible for coordinating and managing the contracted event staff, if applicable, for each event, working closely with the company lead to secure staff for events

The University Ticket Office is the central outlet for information about the ticketing of athlectic events, Student Government Association, arts and cultural events on the campus of North Carolina A&T State University. |

1. Prepare daily records of business transactions, including but not limited to daily sales, accounts receivable, event reports, and the recording and deposit of daily receipts and ensure delivery to treasurer's office by designated time.
2. Responsible for reconciling event with five (5) business days at the conclusion of event.
3. Verify daily cash reports, balance ticket sales at close of all shifts, and report all findings to manager.
4. Responsible for the preparation and dissemination of all monthly reports with the approval of Ticket Office Manager.
5. Build and maintain events on ticketing system as assigned. |
