Position Summary:

Schweitzer Group Sales is seeking a charismatic, creative, and detail-driven Wedding Sales Specialist to join our full-time year-round Group Sales team and become the face of Schweitzer's wedding experience. This role is responsible for converting mountain wedding leads into profitable resort bookings while serving as an effective liaison between bridal clients and the multiple departments responsible for mountain and event operations. The Group Sales office contains a small yet effective team that works together to achieve big goals. We collaborate at every turn from brainstorming new product ideas to executing flawless events, and we welcome any challenges that may provide an opportunity for growth or new success. Our ideal candidate would share our enthusiasm for Schweitzer's fun-loving culture along with our mission to exceed our guests' expectations and our sales revenue goals. We love making memories with our mountain teams while we work to bring clients' visions to life and provide guests with unforgettable experiences that their group will cherish together forever.

While the Wedding Specialist would focus primarily on securing wedding business, this role would also work with other SMERF business opportunities as needed to maximize booking revenue for Schweitzer. Work schedule may include weekends, holidays, and evenings with longer shifts expected in Summer and Winter seasons. Specific territories and market segments subject to final hiring decision and are subject to change over time.

Specific Job Skills:

Driver's License and ability to pass a Background Check

Technical -
  • Reading and writing in English
  • Proficiency with mathematics
  • Event design and timeline management
  • Computer Skills with the ability to type at minimum 40 wpm accurately and familiarity with the following programs preferred: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Edge, Salesforce/Delphi CRM, SMS Host, and Siriusware
  • Safe Driving
  • Use of Office Equipment: PC, printer, copier, fax, etc.
  • Skiing and/or Snowboarding
