The Role

As the Senior Administrator, Technology Operations, you'll be integral to our work in helping vulnerable children achieve a brighter future. This role is ideal for someone looking to build experience in technology operations, financial coordination, and enterprise collaboration. In addition to supporting a senior executive, you'll play a hands-on role in operational logistics, project coordination, and team communication.

What You'll Be Doing (Essential Duties)

Executive & Administrative Support 45%



  • Provide scheduling, calendar management, and administrative support to a senior technology executive.
  • Coordinate team meetings, prepare briefing materials, support travel arrangements and expense reports, and assist with internal communications to direct reports and key partners.
  • Serve as a coordination resource to the broader BTS Senior Management Team (SMT), providing light administrative support, scheduling, and assistance with miscellaneous projects as needed.


Operational Support 45%



  • Maintain shared folders, trackers, templates, and calendars across the Office of the CTO team.
  • Support division-wide communications, knowledge management, and routine task follow-up.
  • Support ongoing coordination needs across the division, including organizing shared resources, tracking team workflows, and assisting with the preparation and circulation of documents for review or approval.


Enterprise Architecture Coordination 10%



  • Schedule recurring Enterprise Architecture (EA) meetings, maintain stakeholder calendars, and track deliverables across EA workstreams.
  • Coordinate development of EA artefacts, including the Technology Standards and Application Pattern Library, by organizing and managing a distributed Center of Excellence (CoE) team.
  • Track timelines, consolidate inputs, provide editorial oversight, and prepare materials for leadership review and periodic refreshes.


Required qualifications for the role



  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated administrative or coordination experience in a professional setting
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated project coordination, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Professional proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, JIRA, SharePoint, or other project collaboration tools
  • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English


Preferred qualifications for the role

Experience supporting senior leaders or managing multiple workstreams



  • Familiarity with technology teams or project coordination


Compensation

Save the Children is offering the following salary ranges for this position, dependent on candidate location:



  • Geo 1 - NY Metro, DC, and other locations with labor costs significantly above national average: Target Salary for this position is $55,250 - $61,750 base salary
  • Geo 2 - Locations around the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $50,150 - $56,050 base salary


  • Geo 3 - Locations significantly below the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $45,050 - $50,350 base salary


The salary ranges listed above are for US based candidates. For candidates located outside of the US, salary ranges will be based on the salary scales of the local employer of record. Actual base salary may vary based on, but not limited to, relevant experience, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location (more information on job structure is available here).
