Sportsbook Clerk - MGM Springfield

As a Sports Clerk at MGM Springfield's Sportsbook, you will play a vital role in enhancing the guest experience by assisting them in placing wagers on various horse racing and sporting events worldwide, all while adhering to the established departmental policies and procedures. Your customer service skills and knowledge of wagering processes will ensure that guests receive accurate and efficient assistance, contributing to a lively and engaging environment.

STARTING RATE: $16.00 per hour with tokes

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Make payments on winning tickets in an accurate and timely manner; verify tickets and payoffs
• Stock Race & Sports book Writer/Cashier's stations with adequate supplies; keep all stations neat and clean
• Create and enter player tracking cards
• Explain wagering rules, including betting lines and odds, and procedures to guests

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Has a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Can work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
