About the role:
Are you passionate about cybersecurity, business operations, eager to make an impact, and ready to dive into the dynamic world of defending critical infrastructure? Look no further! As an intern with the Business Operations Team, you will gain exposure to both the technical and operational components of delivering the mission-critical Dragos Platform.

Location: Must be local to Hanover, MD

• Develop a strong understanding of the Dragos Platform through training, hands-on labs, and collaboration with team members.
• Maintain an open mind and a willingness to learn- not just the technical aspects of the Dragos Platform, but also the logistics, project management, and operational elements that are essential to running an effective team and business dedicated to safeguarding civilization.
• Explore the Dragos Community Defense Program and learn how the platform supports critical infrastructure sectors like water, electric, and oil/gas.
• Gain foundational knowledge of Dragos Platform Hardware (both proprietary and COTS) and how it functions in customer environments.
  • Learn about the cross-functional teams involved in designing, building, and maintaining Dragos hardware solutions.
• Work in Dragos labs to simulate real-world environments and understand internal testing and validation processes.
• Gain hands-on experience across all five phases of project and program management: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing initiatives.
• Support the Business Operations Team by contributing to deliverables such as release notes, workflows, newsletters, and technical documentation.

• Full time student with at least 2 years of college classes or equivalent experience
• Technical acumen:
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts like threat intelligence, incident response, and network security
  • Some experience with computer programming and networking - even at a basic level
  • Some experience with computer hardware and networking ; basic understanding of LAN/WAN
  • Fundamental knowledge of physical and virtual servers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills - collaboration and enthusiasm to work closely with the Dragos team!

• Hourly Rate: $20
