As an Operator, Quality Operations supporting Incoming Quality Assurance and Manufacturing Operations, you will be trusted to work on ensuring material and product quality and maintaining compliance with regulatory and customer requirements at Huntington, WV. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including managers, supervisors, and technicians, to solve quality challenges related to incoming materials and manufacturing processes

  • Performing inspections, tests, and quantitative/qualitative analyses on raw materials, packaging, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal specifications and external regulations

  • Reviewing production records and conducting non-conformance investigations; initiating re-sampling, re-testing, and product holds as necessary

  • Preparing and monitoring quality reports and metrics to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Implementing incoming quality assurance activities, including physical inspections and material handling (up to 20 lbs), in alignment with defined criteria and procedures

  • Communicating effectively with internal teams to report on quality concerns, testing outcomes, and instrument certifications

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

  • Work hours: 3rd Shift 9:00PM - 7:00AM Monday-Thursday

  • Travel Requirements: No
