Kummer Center for STEM Education Job Description
The Lead Teacher coordinates, supervises, and ensures the educational effectiveness and safety of the students of an assigned afterschool students. The Lead Teacher focuses on cultural unity and acceptance within the classroom and provides guidance and care to the children under their supervision. The selected candidates will assist in planning, organizing, and conducting a childcare program, along with providing guidance and care to children under their supervision. They will also coordinate, supervise, and ensure the educational effectiveness of an assigned classroom and/or age group. The Lead Teacher focuses on completing work effectively, efficiently, and in a timely fashion. The Lead Teacher also:

Monday-Friday during afterschool program operation hours (4 per day) Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree in early childhood education, child development or related area or the equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $25.00 hourly. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
