Job board applications are not always compatible with company applicant tracking systems.** Overview Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer, Electrical Engineering, supporting TOS II, at Arnold Engineering Development Complex in Tullahoma, TN. The Project Engineer, Electrical Engineering, will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for supporting the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts. The individual hired for this position will be responsible for leading all Electrical design, implementation, and commissioning engineering activities associated with the implementation of a new test facility at Arnold AFB. Open to internal and external candidates Job Summary The project engineer provides front line leadership for the electrical engineers on the design engineering team in support of design and construction activities. The position requires the application of technical and project knowledge to make decisions in the technical functional area. The purpose of this position is to plan and perform work requiring sound technical judgment in the evaluation, organization, and execution of project engineering assignments. This role has the responsibility to perform the essential job duties and functions as listed below with the overall objective of managing and/or coordinating project activities that follow the contract and ensure the safety, quality, value, and timeliness of the completed project. Performing assigned general duties of limited scope and level of responsibility, this position is designed to develop broader project management knowledge and experience. This position has the responsibility and accountability for the performance of the project Electrical design engineering team. This includes the successful execution of design activities in support of completing design and design changes during construction. It also includes responsibility for the development and enforcement of engineering budget, schedule, and quality. Job Duties:
Perform basic project engineering functions involving monitoring of progress, preparation of procedures, documentation of communications and meetings, and identification/evaluation of project issues and problems.
