Overview

The Staff Accountant will concentrate on month-end close activities, reconciliations, and consolidations. Additionally, this role will support the international accounting, validations, and the global consolidation system. The position involves close collaboration with accounting and finance personnel across multiple countries, as well as several department heads.


Responsibilities


    Prepare monthly activities including journal entries, reconciliations and financial statements and schedules

  • Assist with administering the global accounting consolidating system
  • Provide support to external auditors and tax preparers as requested
  • Prepare monthly validation files for multiple international entities
  • Continuously identify opportunities for improvement on existing accounting processes in order to help develop greater department efficiencies
  • Research technical accounting literature to ensure proper accounting treatment is followed
  • Partner with multiple departments and operating stations to help them understand their monthly financial performance
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards


Qualifications

Education
* Bachelor's Degree (Required)

Experience
* 2+ years in an accounting role (Required)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Office suite High
