As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise in quality as well as achieving overall customer satisfaction. Accordingly, you will supervise all functions associated with maintaining and managing our Quality Assurance programs and the quality of our product from order entry to delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conflict resolution support to the region with customers and suppliers
  • Customer satisfaction management of Quality with a 98% on-time delivery requirement and error-free parts for the entire region
  • Minimizing customer returns for the lowest R&A% possible
  • Implementation of a solid corrective action system with follow-up
  • Capability studies and SPC of major pieces of equipment
  • ISO Certification Management for the region
  • NQA-1 Management for the region
  • Vendor quality management working with our Supply Chain group (includes claim processing)
  • Implementing and meeting customer-specific quality requirements and reporting
  • Continuous improvement projects in all areas of our business for process efficiencies and error reduction utilizing LEAN
  • All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or similar business area
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience working with business analytic software such as Microsoft PowerBI, Azure Analytics, IBM Cognos BI / TM1 is a strong plus
  • Strong quantitative and logical thinking skills, combined with the ability to think creatively in order to envision relationships between data, and communicate those findings to key decision-makers
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and understand new software products and concepts, including the ability to self-instruct using available texts and other resources
  • Excellent organizational skills with emphasis on attention to detail, ability to organize tasks, manage multiple projects, create and maintain documentation, prioritize work, and meet deadlines with minimal direct supervision
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Access, including knowledge of pivot tables, vlookups, and query writing to collect, transform, and evaluate data to provide actionable information
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact across multiple departments and levels within a medium to large size enterprise
