As a General Warehouse Associate you are responsible for maintaining stock levels and production on the shop floor. Roles and Responsibilities Pulling and staging feedstock for production orders Breaking down bulk bundles for customer specific orders Packaging of material to customer requirements Daily machine operation to produce parts to customer specifications Work order confirmation on computer Operating an overhead crane, forklift, and sideloader to move material as needed Truck loading/unloading All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice Requirements Forklift/side-loader experience Ability to safely operate the Overhead crane preferred Prior CTL, CNC burning and plasma experience preferred Must be able to accurately use standard measuring tools (tape measure, micrometer, and caliper) as well as pneumatic hand tools Must be willing to work overtime when needed Successfully pass a skills-based assessment - evaluates your reading, math, inspections & measurement, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills Successful candidates will be enrolled in a registered apprenticeship program as part of their onboarding Salary: $28.20/hr. A starting pay rate higher than $28.20/hr is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale. We are currently seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Operator for our Vernon, CA facility. Essential Functions: Picking and staging feedstock for fulfillment orders Breaking down bulk bundles for customer specific orders Packaging of material to customer requirements Work order confirmation on computer Stage material for shipping Operating an overhead crane to move material as needed Operating a sit-down or side loader forklift to move material as needed Truck loading/unloading Proper completion of paperwork for shipping/receiving Carrying/moving supplies as needed Maximum productivity for finished goods creation Other miscellaneous duties as directed by supervision Position Requirements Regular attendance High school diploma or equivalent preferred Basic math skills Basic computer skills and/or comfort using a computer Physical ability to pass physical requirements exam for vision, hearing and mobility Physical ability to pass physical requirements for mobility and lifting requirements Minimum 2 years of similar job experience preferred
