Work Schedule:

This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Applicants hired into this position can work from most states. This will be discussed during the interview process.

We are seeking a Business Operations Analyst to:



  • Extract and analyze data related to patient registration, charge capture, coding, billing, payment posting, and accounts receivable.
  • Produce comprehensive reports and visualizations that provide actionable insights for revenue cycle leadership, helping to drive improvements in financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Utilize a variety of analytical methods, tools, models, and techniques, including but not limited to Epic dashboards, reporting workbench, SlicerDicer, SQL, Clarity, and Caboodle.
  • Assist with training and development of training programs, involvement in projects, and cross-team collaboration with multiple departments both within and outside of the revenue cycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, finance, information systems, or another relevant field. Four years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree in addition to the experience listed below Required
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Informatics, or other relevant field Preferred

Work Experience

  • 3 years of experience in healthcare, accounting, business administration, finance, analytics, project leadership or related experience Required
  • Prior experience in healthcare analysis Preferred
  • Prior experience in analysis, strategic planning, and decision support

    Preferred
  • Prior experience in an academic healthcare environment Preferred
  • Prior experience in writing SQL or similar languages Preferred
