Description

MidFirst Bank is seeking an Oil and Gas Accounting Manager to join its Private Wealth Management team in Oklahoma City. The oil and gas group provides accounting, administration and management for oil and gas assets. Managing these types of assets requires oil and gas accounting software and information from other external data providers. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for revenue and JIB data processing. The candidate will utilize strategic partners and internal processes to complete monthly operations for all oil and gas clients.

Responsibilities



  • Manage oil and gas software. Including the following:


- Revenue Processing

- Joint Interest Billing Processing

- Monthly Balancing




  • Collaborate with external partners to efficiently process oil and gas accounting information.
  • Work closely with property managers in dealing with purchasers and operators to accomplish the following:



- Recovering suspended funds

- Recognizing title issues

- Monitoring revenue deductions

- Analyzing JIBs

Position Requirements:



  • 5-7 years of oil and gas accounting experience.
  • Commensurate experience in lieu of degree
  • Significant experience using oil and gas accounting software.
  • Knowledge of oil and gas industry terminology.
  • Skills in interpersonal communication.
  • Strong client service skills.
  • General proficiency in computer and database applications.
  • Adherence to the highest ethical and professional standards.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
