The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota and the University of Masonic Children's Hospital seek candidates for a full-time Pediatric Intensivist. The rank of this faculty position is at the level of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor on the Academic or Master Clinician Track depending on qualifications About the Appointment:
About the Department: The mission of the Department of Pediatrics is to generate new knowledge through research, to apply this new knowledge to the highest quality health care for the prevention and treatment of illness in children, and to provide the best possible education of the next generation of medical students, physicians, and other health professionals in childhood disease prevention, treatment, research, and advocacy. Through this mission the Department seeks to improve the lives of children in our community, nation, and the world. The University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital is a state-of-the-art children's hospital that opened in April 2011. The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit supports 12 CVICU beds and 12 medical/surgical beds with approximately 1000 admissions annually. Qualifications:
