Job Summary

Maintenance Team Leader
The successful candidate will be part of a leadership team responsible for Maintenance Reliability of the production facility at our Cedar Rapids, IA facility.

We are looking for an exceptional individual to be responsible for the following tasks:
*Multiple Hourly technicians reporting to this role.
*Interpreting isometric drawings, P&IDs, schematics and equipment drawings related to pumps, valves, agitators, motors, chillers, air compressors.
*Problem solving, root cause analysis, system design & construction
*Recognizes the need for and provides assistance beyond core work area to drive improvement.
*Demonstrates a commitment to safety, personal integrity and accountability.
*Maintains a positive attitude while being self-motivated.
*Effectively lead meetings with vendors, contractors, engineering, technicians, rental agencies, etc.
*Be an advocate for those in need of help to get them the assistance they need to accomplish their tasks.
*Develop training and standardization for gaps identified in the system.
*Facilitate and track annual regulatory inspections.
*Carry cell phone 24/7 for site support.
*In depth plant knowledge and understanding of process flow throughout the facility.
*Capable of making quick decisions in the best interest of plant safety during process equipment emergencies.
*Follows all safety, ISO, HACCP, GMP, Kosher, Halal, and plant expectations.
*Oversee repairs and maintenance to ensure accurate and timely completion.
*Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance technicians and mechanics.

You are qualified if you have the following education, experience, skills, and attributes:
*
*Minimum 6 years' experience in an industrial plant environment.
*Minimum 2 years' experience with SAP in MRO/stock parts, permit issues, TECO, PM plans.
*Minimum of 5+ years' experience in a position of leadership to include team development and management, required.
