To excel in this role, you should have a strong engineering background with expertise in cryogenic design, particularly in liquid helium refrigeration. While a relevant degree is beneficial, practical experience and a proactive attitude are key. Experience with CAD, FEA, project management, and knowledge of cryogenic heat exchanger design will be advantageous.
