We have an opportunity for a Key Account Representative to join our Residential Water Treatment business in Brookfield, WI. You will work closely with a cross-functional team to position Pentair's residential and commercial water treatment products and solutions within the professional distribution, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), and wholesale channels across the North American market. This is a great opportunity to hone your skills in key account management and sales, while also developing a strong technical understanding of residential water treatment systems.

** The office for this business is in Brookfield, WI. You will work a hybrid work schedule (3 days / week onsite) to strategize, collaborate and learn from the team. ** #LI-Hybrid

You will:

  • Maximize sales revenue of established accounts, as well as target additional growth opportunities, through the development of key sales relationships and tracking monthly, quarterly, and annual sales.
  • Analyze customer preferences to help recommend proper product applications and/or accessories, provide expertise and solutions to problems related to products in the field.
  • Establish annual account plans to execute sales objectives & tactics.
  • Participate in sales forecasting and financial planning processes, including monthly reports.
  • Coordinate sales activities and communicate customer product requirements with other departments such as marketing, manufacturing, engineering, and materials.
  • Provide market feedback to Product Managers and Sales Leaders about competition, customer issues, and trends.

Key Qualifications:

  • Have earned a bachelor's (B.A. or B.S.) degree preferred.
  • Have 1-3 years of relevant experience and a strong sales aptitude, including ability to understand customer needs and requirements, identify solutions, build long-term dynamic relationships, and driven to grow key accounts.
  • Experience managing key accounts in a B2B manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn and sell a portfolio of engineered products.
  • Proven ability to communicate professionally with individuals both within and outside an organization.
  • Customer focused, results-oriented, and possess strong negotiation skills.

Travel:

  • Up to 10% of the time to meet with customers, business partners, or attend tradeshows.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated total target cash (TTC) range will be from $79500 - $147600 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as sales incentive bonus.
