Senior Project Engineer

The Advanced Passive (AP) Technology Deployment organization is looking for a Senior Project Engineer to support of new Plant opportunities. This Senior Project Engineer will engage on specific activities with our consortium partners related to the construction of AP1000 nuclear power plants to support Westinghouse International new build market development and capture.

You will report to the the AP1000 Constructor Interface Manager and be located at our Global Headquarter in Cranberry Township. The position is hybrid, you will be on site 2 days per week.

The AP Technology Deployment organization missions are:

• 
  

  The integration of Global Engineering Services input in support of new build offers

  
  
• 
  

  The management of Global Engineering Services scope for programs aiming at improving the International marketability and the delivery of AP1000 projects worldwide

  
  
• 
  

  The lead and integration of Global Engineering Services scope in support of new build market development, early works and FEED contracts.

  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Coordinate with GES cross functional teams to implement standard work processes, procedures and automation tools on current and future AP1000 New Plant Opportunities consistent with the strategic direction established by the respective Project Stakeholders.

  
  
• 
  

  Coordinate responses to inquiries from constructors and customers in support of construction activities.

  
  
• 
  

  Manage contract activities to ensure timely completion within the required timeframe.

  
  
• 
  

  Provide direction to team members for scope execution. Support the development, maintenance and distribution of engineering budgets and schedules for respective parts of new project execution.

  
  
• 
  

  Facilitate cross-discipline coordination for both technical and schedule related issues.

  
  
• 
  

  Interface with potential customers, partners and regulators in support of Westinghouse stakeholder engagement and project plans.

  
  
• 
  

  Support various aspects of future bid and proposal efforts in various countries.

  
  
• 
  

  10% travel may be required.

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  5+ years of experience of applicable experience

  
  
• 
  

  Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear, Chemical, etc).

  
  
• 
  

  Experience leading and directing medium or high complexity projects to successful completion.

  
  
• 
  

  Familiar with the AP1000 project, processes, and procedures.
