What you'll do

As aClient Technology Operations Data Concierge Specialist, you will be an integral part of the broaderStrategy and Operationsteam. Your primary focus will be streamlining the process of working with data and technology throughout the entire client engagement lifecycle, ensuring that individuals and client facing teams can make informed decisions based on accurate and relevant information.

The Client Technology Operations Data Concierge Specialist is a full-time position located in Southfield, MI, reporting to the Client Technology Operations Support Manager. Paid relocation is not available.



  • Support client delivery and the client data operations function by handling data and technology related tasks, questions, escalations through the engagement lifecycle.
  • Partner and communicate thoughtfully and effectively with client delivery teams to ensure compliance with company security and privacy standards; and liaise with security, privacy, and data governance as appropriate.
  • Assist with providing data driven recommendations to implement best practices for efficient data management, storage, and retrieval.
  • Collaborate with project teams to facilitate effective communication and information flow.
  • Prepare for team meetings, documenting action items, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential issues and proposing solutions.
  • Assist with establishing simple documentation of processes: creating, updating, modifying and/or giving feedback.
  • Organize, streamline, and perform operational tasks to increase automation and reduce the potential for errors.
  • Effectively manage time in alignment with project timelines and deadlines, contributing to team success.
  • Address business and customer issues promptly and accurately, emphasizing project management principles to maintain client satisfaction.
  • Service review, evaluation and improvement: Support the use of metrics and feedback to monitor and track the Data Concierge service and provide relevant information and reporting that informs decisions to improve the services.
  • Continuously improve education and awareness around data processes and technology tools by enhancing information flows internally and within the organization broadly, to embed the Data Concierge services within the firm.
  • Coordinate with client services and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities, plan and implement changes that improve team practices and service delivery, particularly around data.

What you'll need



  • Bachelor's degree in a related area preferred with a minimum of one (1) year of work experience. Related work experience may be acceptable in lieu of degree.
  • Proficient in a diverse range of data management and analysis tools, demonstrating a depth of expertise in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerBI.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data sets and provide actionable insights.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of data regulatory and legal considerations, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering positive relationships and achieving collective goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Solid understanding of project timelines, milestones, and deadlines, with a focus on the timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service even in high-pressure situations, ensuring client satisfaction and project success.
  • Core working hours are generally 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday; willingness to work outside of normal U.S. business hours, and as unique projects/needs arise.
  • Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday.
