The Team: Mattel is seeking an Associate Manager, Talent Management, to join the Global Talent team. This role will be responsible for supporting our employees through the full life cycle at Mattel starting with their entry into Mattel to their career journey while at Mattel. This role will report to the Director, Talent Management and be located at Mattel's Corporate Headquarters campus in El Segundo, CA. The Opportunity: As a member of the Talent Center of Excellence, within our People & Culture Division, this position supports a strategic objective to drive performance and professional growth as well as cultivate leadership through Collaboration, Innovation and Execution. Through this role, you will build tools, processes and resources that support our People & Culture teams and increase employee engagement at Mattel. Act as the global subject matter expert on employee onboarding, including researching best practices, recommending new experiences and content for new hires, and implementing onboarding programs What Your Impact Will Be: * Lead our El Segundo new hire onboarding experiences, including presenting content to new hires along their new hire journey. * Partner with Talent Acquisition and Talent leads across our regions, to ensure a consistent and seamless onboarding experience globally. * Design and deliver employee and manager training sessions on Mattel's talent processes (goal setting, mid-year coaching & development, year-end pay & performance, etc.) * Support yearly career development programming experiences * Build digital learning resources for talent processes for employees to access on demand * Manage Viva Glint with setting up annual Global Engagement Surveys, researching and understanding tool functionality * Analyze new hire survey results from various data points along the employee journey, and report data to People & Culture Business Partners. * Execute administrative tasks such as schedule training sessions, administering assessments, etc. What We're Looking For: * Proven facilitation skills with experience designing and delivering trainings around performance management and career development both in-person and virtually * Experience analyzing and presenting data from different touchpoints * Experience managing onboarding programs (locally and globally) * Ability to research and bring best practices * Excellent communicator, both verbally and written * Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, complex, and matrixed environment * Ability to organize, prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage ambiguity across multiple priorities * Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to work effectively as part of a global team and interact with all levels of leadership * Demonstrate proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability * At least 5+ years of progressive experience in a Talent Management or similar Human Resource role * Experience and proficiency in Viva Glint is a plus. * Experience and proficiency in Enboarder onboarding tool is a plus * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) * Ability to manage different projects all at once The annual base salary range for this position is between $114,000 and $135,000 Don't meet every single requirement?At Mattel, we are dedicated to an inclusive workplace and a culture of belonging.
