We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Strategic Transformation Manager to join our leadership team within the Power and Data Division of the Space and Defense Group. This role is pivotal in leading and executing transformative initiatives that align with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partners with Senior Leaders of the Power and Data Division to shape the strategic vision of 80/20 transformation with the business and act as a leading change agent to drive its integration and adoption with the business process and culture.

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing coaching and training throughout the organization on the fundamental 80/20 principles, analysis tools, and decision making.

  • The strategic focus of this role will influence fundamental business and resourcing decisions that will result in a positive impact on the growth and profitability of the business.

  • Provide 80/20 recommendations/solutions, support, guidance, and leadership through all functions or business activities as strategically prioritized. This includes the basic 80/20 focus areas of Simplification, Segmentation, Growth and Resourcing. Ensuring that we continue align our business to focus on the 80s Customer and Priorities.

  • Acts as a business advisor/objective set of eyes.

  • Align with business teams and functions to understand 80's priorities.

  • Provide Education and Awareness training material through established training channels and coaching as needed.

  • Analyze data and metrics to measure the impact of transformation initiatives and make data-driven recommendations.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on project status and outcomes.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.

  • To a lesser extent, support the Power and Data Leadership Team on building a management system and other strategic priorities, as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in strategic transformation, business program management, or a similar role.

  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience presenting and influencing at an executive leadership level.

  • Proven success developing strategic plans and building alignment around across departments to ensure goals are met or exceeded.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or relevant certification.

  • Experience in driving large-scale change initiatives and managing stakeholder expectations.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.

  • Expertise in applying the 80/20 principle to prioritize tasks and maximize efficiency.

Salary Range Transparency:

Blacksburg, VA $123,000.00-$234,000.00 Annually

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
