Duro-Last Roofing has an opening for a Tapered Insulation Coordinator at the Corporate Headquarters in Saginaw, Michigan. This position aims to provide tapered drawings, piece counts, and quotes for our customers, both internal and external. This is a full-time, hourly based position with excellent benefits.

Essential Functions:

  • Working up tapered designs based on drawings, specifications and request.
  • Coordinate completion of all Tapered Drawings and piece counts for the Duro-Last Tapered Division.
  • Use experience and roofing knowledge to aid in tapered designs including providing value engineered options.
  • Review other tapered drawings as well.
  • Work the tapered request from start to finish including proving drawing, piece count, row report and shop drawings (upon request).
  • On demand, be required to provide a quote for the drawing as well.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree is preferred, but not required for this position.
  • Previous tapered experience is preferred.
  • Individual must be equipped with strong motivation, organization, time management, documentation, and communication skills (both orally and written).
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Demonstration of strong work ethics (punctual, dependable, and trustworthy) is necessary.
  • Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
  • Must be willing to do occasional travel.
  • Employment is contingent upon passing a background check, physical, and drug screen.
