The Third-Party Compliance Manager at nVent will be primarily responsible for leading our third party due diligence process , implementing and enhancing an effective third party management program through technologies, analytics, benchmarking, and risk assessments. They will implement process improvements across company functions, support mergers and acquisition projects as a compliance integration lead, and manage vendor relationships. Additionally, the manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the anti-corruption and bribery program, including maintaining screening software, reviewing enhanced due diligence developing and leading trainings, developing controls, performing monitoring activities, and managing the program budget.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

Primary Responsibilities:

Anti-Corruption and Bribery Program Management:

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the anti-corruption and bribery program, focused on third parties and M&A

  • Maintain screening software to ensure effective monitoring and compliance

  • Review and assess due diligence reports, identifying potential risks and recommending mitigation strategies. Develop and lead training sessions for employees on anti-corruption and bribery policies and procedures

  • Maintain controls to prevent and detect corruption and bribery

  • Perform monitoring activities to identify emerging risks , monitor effectiveness of the third party due diligence process and ensure compliance with anti-corruption and bribery policies

  • Manage the program budget to ensure efficient use of resources

  • Manage relationships with vendors that support the anti-corruption program

Program Mitigation Validation:

  • Validate the effectiveness of the anti-corruption and bribery program through analytics, benchmarking, and risk assessments

  • Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure the program is detecting and mitigating risks effectively

Process Improvements and Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Through cross-functional collaboration, enhance data flow and digital connections to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Anti-Corruption and Bribery Program

  • Support cross-functional collaboration projects to integrate compliance processes across different departments

Mergers and Acquisitions Support:

  • Act as the compliance integration lead for mergers and acquisition projects

  • Ensure that compliance controls are integrated seamlessly into newly acquired entities

YOU HAVE:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field

  • Ideally 5+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field

  • Strong understanding of anti-corruption and bribery regulations and compliance processes

  • Proven experience in third-party due diligence and compliance monitoring.

  • Strong data analytics capabilities and experience in risk-based analysis of third-party relationships. Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in M&A due diligence and integration.

  • Proficiency with compliance and screening technologies.

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP), or equivalent.

  • Experience in developing or enhancing financial and operational controls

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$89,300.00 - $165,800.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
