Develops, prepares, interprets, and monitors moderate-to-complex health care analyses, data projections, data models, and reports related to population health, clinical quality measures, value-based care performance measures, and other Centers for Medicare and Medicaid quality reporting, regulatory and EMR programs.

Maintains databases and tracking spreadsheets, data entry and reporting filters to configure business intelligence tools related to clinician reporting and population health management.

Serves as an expert resource to provide analytics guidance and support.

Works in collaboration with stakeholders and subject matter experts to deploy actionable insights that produce value driven outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities include standardizing and cleaning data and developing metrics for complex data analysis projects that can be multi-disciplinary or interdepartmental. Addresses data requirements for analytic reporting and operating areas with expertise in specific data systems and/or analytical methodologies.

Works with expert proficiency with a variety of tools (ex. SQL, Excel, Power BI, Python, etc.) to extract data, write queries, develop programming logic, run reports, manipulate data, and analyze datasets to meet the needs of the organization.

Position is eligible for the University Physicians work from home program

Shift

Shift Type: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Office/Administrative Hours: No - Position will not have Office/Admin Hours
Flexibility for Alternative Schedules: Yes

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in health administration, public health, computer science, statistics, business administration, data science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired.
Two (2) years of experience in decision support, analysis, or quality reporting and/or quality and process improvement via cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Master's degree in health administration, business administration, data science or a related field.
Years of Experience: 1 year of health care experience
Niche Professional Interests: Clinical quality health care data
Additional Training: Ability to compile, model, and analyze large data sets. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite software (word, excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access etc.) and SQL. Business intelligence experience (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects, Oracle Health Data Intelligence, Python, and/or R) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Willingness to attain business and program requirements knowledge to ensure success. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively.

Anticipated Hiring Range: $68,265.50 - $111,425.60
