Position: Quality Web Administrator, Technical Publishing & QA

Locations: Plano, TX.


Pay Range: $37-$40/hr.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Web Administrator with experience in technical publishing and structured content management. This role is responsible for processing, managing, and publishing technical service information to a web-based documentation platform, ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy. You will work with a variety of document types including repair manuals, service bulletins, owner's manuals, wiring diagrams, and training materials.
Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in technical publishing, editing, or content management.
  • Strong understanding of structured data and markup languages (XML, DITA, JSON).
  • Proficient in HTML editing and content management systems.
  • Familiarity with technical service information, manuals, or similar documentation is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot content or data issues and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the electronic publishing workflow from intake to deployment for technical documents.
  • Validate and process structured data files (XML, DITA, JSON) to ensure proper formatting, metadata tagging, and file integrity.
  • Perform quality assurance (QA) checks on documents before and after publication to ensure accuracy and functionality.
  • Edit and update static web content using HTML and CMS tools.
  • Support monthly publishing builds, including user acceptance testing (UAT), documentation validation, and post-deployment checks, which may occasionally occur outside regular business hours.
  • Assist with document translation publishing (Spanish, French, or other languages as needed).
  • Provide reporting and status updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of document workflows, publishing processes, and system support.
