Business Analyst

Milton CAT is growing our team of Business Analysts to help connect our business operations with our IT capabilities and vice versa. This Business Analyst be an integral part of the exciting Power Systems team engaged in Power Generation, MC2 Renewable Energy Services, Marine, Industrial and Truck Engines business segments. This role will work together with team members in those areas on key system upgrades and initiatives, such as further automation of our process, improved customer communication and configuration and rollout of all aspects of our ERP system, D365. You will start by getting up to speed on daily workflows and processes and grow into managing the day-to-day support of various business critical applications for the power systems department. This position will be the point of contact for technical ERP support which includes in-depth knowledge of application functions and configuration options within the power systems division.

Provide systems analysis, design, specifications, and development for all supported applications.
• Evaluates business processes, anticipates requirements, uncovers areas for improvement, and facilitates solution development and implementation.
• Participate with the quality assurance, technical services, operations, and application development staff to create work plans to support strategic initiatives, business plans and emerging business needs.
• Facilitate communications with operational department stakeholders and IT Department by participating in project team meetings.
• Identifies, manages, and tracks business and technical objectives throughout the project's lifecycle.
• Maintains a strong understanding of business operations, priorities, and strategic objectives.
• Develop an understanding of technology integrations between different systems.
• Define requirements for data analytics and reporting for effectiveness or process governance.
• Act as primary department liaison between Power Systems and IT for relevant applications.

• Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3-5 years' related experience required, ideally as a Business Analyst or Project Manager.

• Experience with ERP technology.
• Demonstrated aptitude to quickly learn business processes.
• Excellent documentation, organizational, communication skills.
• Proficient use of laptop and mobile technology with advanced utilization of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work with users at all levels within the organization.
• Occasional travel within New England and Upstate New York will be required.
