Staff Accountant Temple Hills MD Pay From: $38 per hour MUST: Experienced Staff Accountant Must have experience with Vistaview point accounting software B.S. in finance, accounting, or relevant field With 1-2 years of recent relevant experience. Newly accounting graduate is encouraged to apply Attention to detail is a must Experience in A/P, and month-end close process Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong customer service skills Proficient with computer software, and MS Office specifically Excel DUTIES: The Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the company. The position will assist the Director of Finance with timely and accurate information reporting including but not limited to invoice approval subcontractors' management, accounts receivable and other day-to day accounting operations Communicate with the Project Management Team and other Department Heads for invoices' approval Review and post AP invoices with appropriate coding Gather all backup for AP payment selection Support AR and WIP reporting as required Perform key account reconciliation on a weekly and monthly basis Manage subcontractor invoices and payments Perform weekly check runs Perform trouble shooting as necessary to resolve issues with invoices or vendors' payment Help team members with other adhoc requests Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
