Group/Division

The SensArray division is the world leading provider of in situ processing measurement and control solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides measurement and control solutions to both semiconductor fabs and mask shops to ensure that yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing SensArray business unit is dedicate to support customer R&D phase as well as HVM with in-situ thermal process control. SensArray business unit enable APC (Automated Process Control) to improve process optimization and yield improvement.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

The Product Development Engineer is integral to all phases of the product life cycle. This role is part of a team dedicated to developing and supporting next-generation in-situ semiconductor process monitoring systems, as well as improving current systems!

Key Responsibilities:

Next-Generation Product Development:

  • Design, material selection, packaging structure development, and process development for new products.
  • Chip in to prototype testing by providing feedback to test plans and conducting experiments to validate product performance.
  • Implement production of new products on the manufacturing line.
  • Detail the manufacturing transfer of new products.
Manufacturing Yield and Reliability Improvement:
  • Support quality improvement initiatives, including data analysis and documentation.
  • Engage in team efforts to address quality issues.
  • Participate in solving activities for both existing and new products.

Engineering Support for Manufacturing:

  • Diagnose manufacturing issues, identify root causes, and collaborate with multi-functional teams to define solutions for sophisticated problems.
  • Provide detailed analysis and trade-offs for various solutions and assist in driving action plans.
  • Work effectively with authorities in electrochemical systems, materials, precision packaging, and vacuum systems to resolve issues.
  • Support continuous improvement projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Background in electronics or mechatronics engineering.
  • Must have thin film deposition experience
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and tools (JMP, MATLAB, etc)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Engage across all levels of the division, customers, suppliers, and multi-functional teams.
Preferred qualifications, but not required:
  • Basic scripting capability.
  • Familiarity with electrochemical systems testing.
  • Familiarity with 8D methodology.
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 yearsin STEM field
