Job description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bilingual Patient Services Representative to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced medical environment. Your ability to communicate effectively and handle various office responsibilities will be crucial in ensuring a smooth patient experience. Location: North Hollywood, CA Pay: $21-$22/hr Schedule: Monday - Friday / 8am - 5pm Responsibilities * Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures. * Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare providers. * Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history. * Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and resolving issues as needed. * Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. * Provide information about services offered, including dental and medical procedures. * Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence. * Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and support during appointments. Requirements * Bilingual in Spanish and English * Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred. * Familiarity with medical terminology is highly desirable. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with patients and staff. * Proficiency in office software applications for administrative support tasks. * A compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
