As a Security Officer - Telecom Unarmed in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a tech-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with customer service needs, and maintaining clear communication with team members. This post requires a valid driver's license, as driving may be part of your duties. Pay Rate: $27.10 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents or suspicious activity in accordance with site protocols.
• Assist with access control and visitor management as required by site policies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• California Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Experience with SSO Chemical/Petrochemical - MARSEC environments is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
