THOR Solutions is actively seeking a junior-to-mid level Asset Manager/System Administrator to support NMCI hardware and software asset management activities for Code 34 at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT), located in Middletown, RI. An ideal candidate will possess experience with the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) IT platform, the NMCI Enterprise Tool (NET), and with tracking, ordering, analyzing, and providing training related to NMCI hardware and software assets.
Typical Physical Activity: Primarily desk/computer work in an office environment. May involve: repetitive motion. May also require physical activity including lifting/moving computer & server hardware assets, setting up workstations, laying network cable, and supporting other IT infrastructure activities. Existing Secret Security Clearance Required: This position requires an existing DoD Secret security clearance. A qualified candidate will already possess an Active or Interim Secret security clearance. A strongly qualified candidate with relevant NMCI/DoD experience but no current security clearance may be considered. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
