We are seeking an Associate Cybersecurity Engineer - Web Applications Security to join our team, responsible for identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities, maintaining application scripts, and collaborating with IT areas to ensure timely completion of security work requests. In this role, you will also contribute to process improvements, develop operational documentation, and support the maintenance of technical security solutions to protect our web applications. What are the Key Responsibilities:
- Tracks and documents security vulnerabilities, issues and requests, actively monitors work queue and remediates.
- Maintains application scripts and uses application specific tools to create or manage operational security.
- Accountable for follow-up of all security work requests including collaborating with other IT areas to ensure timely completion/resolution and obtainment of appropriate approval levels.
- Provides input to drive process improvements
- Supports the development and maintenance of operational documentation for technical security solutions (e.g. procedures, engineering diagrams, knowledgebase, etc.).
What is Required:
- 3+ years' experience with 1+ years Cybersecurity and 2+ years Information Technology Infrastructure
- Current certifications in CYSA+ or GSEC or Security+ , or ability to successful secure in 180 Days from start of job
- Scripting / Automation experience
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking, and security concepts and controls for network, application, and operating systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and investigate security related issues and having experience or knowledge with vulnerability and patch management.
- Familiarity with industry data security, privacy standards, relevant always and regulatory requirements.

Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $75,700 - $94,600, within a full annualized salary range of $75,700 - $123,000
