We're seeking a skilled and driven Workshop Manager to lead our Fort Lauderdale operations. This is a high-impact leadership role, perfect for someone with a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving ability, and a passion for developing high-performing teams.

What You'll Do:

As FL Workshop Manager, you'll manage shop and field service operations, oversee technical teams, and ensure outstanding project execution and customer satisfaction. You'll play a key role in operational planning, team development, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate work across the shop and field teams (4 direct reports)
  • Lead and support team performance, hiring, training, and development
  • Implement and promote continuous improvement practices, focusing on 5S, cleanliness, and efficiency.
  • Coordinate and manage technical projects, maintenance, and repairs
  • Develop and oversee work plans, budgets, bids, and customer contracts
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and operational standards
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve procedures and resolve issues
  • Monitor performance metrics and ensure quality service delivery
  • Travel up to 10% to support regional operations and projects
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field-preferred
  • 10+ years of related experience in workshop or technical service environments
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and equipment
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
  • Skilled in planning, resource allocation, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly and lead teams through change
  • Proficiency with standard software tools and ERP systems
