What this position entails

The Analytics Team delivers impactful data analytics and business intelligence solutions by closely collaborating with all areas within IntelliScript. By partnering with stakeholders, we precisely define our data requirements and provide tailored solutions that drive intelligent decision-making.

We take pride in creating dynamic, user-friendly visualizations that effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. Our team also develops and refines complex data models to conduct comprehensive analyses, uncovering intricate trends and insights. These efforts enable us to offer actionable recommendations based on our expert findings.

What you'll be doing



  • Partner with data engineers, business analysts, and leadership to define data needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Own multiple projects and project timelines to ensure deliverables meet stakeholder requirements
  • Create dynamic, user-friendly visualizations in Power BI to communicate insights to stakeholders (both technical and non-technical)
  • Conduct in-depth data analyses to identify complex trends and insights, and provide actionable recommendations based on findings
  • Develop and refine complex data models using advanced techniques to support reporting and advanced analytics
  • Actively participate in peer review processes to ensure the quality and consistency of the team's work, providing and receiving constructive feedback effectively
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement in processes and suggest remediations
  • Leverage your expertise in Databricks, BI tools, and industry analytics to advance team growth and development


What we need



  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis - strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks or similar data intelligence platforms, demonstrating advanced proficiency in data transformation, workflow management, data modeling, dashboard and report development, integration and automation of data processes
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with data visualization software (Power BI is a plus)
  • Versatility in using programming languages for advanced data analysis and automation (strong SQL skills a plus)

Location

This position is open to remote work. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI as needed and travel nationwide for meetings, conferences, and team events.

Compensation

The salary range is $55,000 - $131,000, depending on relevant factors, including but not limited to education, skills, certifications, and location. If relevant experience is less than 4 years, the range would be $55,000 - $109,000; for experience of greater than 4 years, the range would be $67,000 - $131,000. In addition, we offer a performance-based bonus plan, prot sharing, and generous benets.
