What you'll do:

• Provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, feeding, toileting and mobility.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Support vital sign monitoring and documentation within scope of practice.
• Ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment for patients.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care team members to deliver personalized, high-quality care.
• Offer emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.
• Promote patient dignity, comfort, and independence during care activities.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and call lights.
• Uphold infection prevention and safety standards in all aspects of care .

Background/experience:

• Currently certified in the State of Oregon to practice as a CNA.
• Have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider card.
• Well-developed computer skills and ability to lean additional programs with minimal training.
• Ability to work tactfully and effectively with physicians, nurses and other hospital employees.
