Maintenance Repairman 2 (Permanent) - Hills Creek State Park

In this position, you will apply your diverse skill set to the maintenance, repair, and construction of buildings, facilities, and equipment at Hills Creek, Leonard Harrison, and Colton Point State Parks. Your responsibilities will encompass various trades, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, and masonry, to ensure the upkeep and enhancement of park infrastructure.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• This is a 24/7 operation and will require working weekends, holidays and night/day shifts
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.

• This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.

• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
