Responsibilities

The National Trainer will be an integral part of Syneos Health Learning Solutions team with a primary responsibility to ensure continuous learning and development for field and field management including supporting on-boarding training, coordinating with client training department, and building training content as needed.

The National Trainer will report to the Associate Director of Delivery Services and work closely with regional people leaders, Syneos Health Learning Strategists, Content Developers and the Client as needed to achieve the collective goals of the team.

  • Responsible for all product and non-product related field skill training initiatives
  • Cross functional responsibilities to become part of the Learning Solutions Team
  • Build and deliver professional level training content
  • Project manage national meetings for POAs and field training and on-boarding plans
  • Management of new hire on-boarding planning and delivery of Syneos Health on-boarding training content for multiple teams
  • Conduct business with executive presence to support client and Syneos leadership
  • Document and maintain current training policies and procedures
  • Maintain records of training aligned to retention policies and client business rules
  • Be lead for training to support program training audit requests
  • May complete field rides to support the teams
  • May travel to client and Syneos headquarters to support programs
Job Requirements

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:

  • BS/BA Degree required
  • 5+ years in Commercial Biotech/Pharma
  • Experience training field and virtual teams to supporting specialty products(s) with knowledge of Healthcare Professionals, Medical Systems, Strategic Account Selling, Commercial payers, Medicare plans and state Medicaid
  • Prior training experience including application of adult learning principles to optimize training
  • Proven experience educating teams to navigate challenging payer and access landscapes, in-depth knowledge of issues related to coding coverage and reimbursement
  • Proven experience detailing pharmaceutical/biotechnical products in a fair and balanced manner.
  • Understanding of multiple disease states and related interventions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage Training Meeting Planning / Project Management
  • Skilled in use of Virtual Platforms and working virtually (ZOOM, Microsoft Teams)
  • Understanding of compliance & privacy laws
  • Advanced presentation and facilitation skills
  • Ability to coordinate, plan, build content, and deliver training sessions to large and small groups
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and problem solve
  • Ability to manage expenses within allocated budgets
  • Prior experience in a patient services marketing role preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel when needed
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $X to $Y. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
