Overview
This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States. At First Citizens Bank, our commitment to data integrity and governance is foundational to how we serve our clients and manage risk. We are seeking a Data Management Consultant to join our growing Enterprise Data Office. This role will play a key part in managing data defects, supporting business partners in adhering to data governance policies and standards, and delivering insightful reporting to drive continuous improvement across the enterprise. Responsibilities Data Defect Management - Supports identification, prioritization and cataloging of data defects and issues for remediation.
Business Support - Enforces data management policies and standards across the Partners with Business Units to ensure required attributes and defect management processes are followed.
Reporting - Creates and maintains key data governance metrics used to ensure awareness and transparency as well as to drive consistent
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Data Management, Financial Analysis, or similar OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Data Management, Financial Analysis, or similar Understanding of data warehousing and transformation methods, lineage documentation, and ETL processes, Knowledge of data spreadsheets and databases, Understanding of Base SAS programming, SAS Enterprise Guide, Cognos, or related programs, IBM InfoSphere Information Management suite or similar This job posting is expected to remain active for 45 days from the initial posting date listed above. The base pay for this position is generally between $110,000 and $160,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
