Cognizant is looking to hire a motivated and energetic Sr Java Developer who develops and maintains high-quality software solutions using AWS, SQL, Spring Boot, Java, Spring MVC, JavaScript, and MySQL

Job Location: Portsmouth - NH USA OR Plano - TX USA

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using AWS, SQL, Spring Boot, Java, Spring MVC, JavaScript, and MySQL.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

* Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

* Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

* Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

* Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

* Work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.

* Implement best practices for software development and ensure compliance with company standards.

* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.

* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.

* Ensure that all software solutions are secure and scalable.

* Collaborate with QA teams to ensure the highest quality of deliverables.

Key Qualifications:

* 6-10 years of experience in Advanced Java and Spring boot.
