#upjobs Job Summary: Responsible for all facets of medical billing and accounts receivable management. This includes charge corrections, contractual adjustments, and customer service. Insurance follow-up in accordance with practice protocol, federal, state, and governmental payor guidelines with an emphasis on maximizing timely collections, reduction in AR greater than 90 days, and department collaboration. Essential Functions: 1. Obtain claim status and payment information via telephone or payer websites. Position is eligible for the University Physicians work from home program. Shift
Shift Type: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Flexibility for Alternative Schedules: Yes Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired. Preferred Qualifications
Niche Professional Interests: Comprehensive understanding of accounts receivable management preferably in a medical office setting. * Strong organizational and communication skills are essential to this position. Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $16.68 - $23.32/hour Application Materials
