Agile Product Manager

Credence is seeking an Agile Product Manager. The Agile Product Manager is in charge of a product throughout its product lifecycle. That includes working out what DLA and our customers want, helping to build the right product, and then supporting it. They also provide the product vision and leadership for the many other roles involved in developing, supporting, marketing, and selling the product. That includes ensuring the product supports the DLA's strategy and goals.

Full pay range for this position is $xxx to $xxx per year, with the starting wage determined based on candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, as well as budget availability.

This Product Owner description is for the common understanding of the role in Agile Scrum. However, often, the role expands to cover other product management activities as well.

A Product Owner is responsible for providing the product development team with a product vision and prioritized list of features (the backlog).

Key responsibilities are to:

Represent the customer (be a proxy) within the development process
• rticulate the product vision
• Write requirements - typically as user stories and epics
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog
• Track releases
• Participate in daily scrum meetings, planning, reviews and retrospectives
• Support the development team with any questions they may have
• Guide organizations in fostering better ways of working
• Using the principles of SAFe, serve the teams, enable product delivery, and benefit the overall enterprise.
• Socialize the new concepts and communicate upcoming changes and establish metrics
• Work with stakeholders to understand the flow of value and facilitate the identification of Operational Value Streams, Development Value Streams and ARTs to find those that are the most opportunistic for launch.

• Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC)
• Undergraduate degree is required
• Five (5) years of relevant experience
• Must have the minimum years's experiene that is directly realted to the following duties and responsibilities:
  • 2+ years relevant experience (program/project management, agile, scrum master)
  • Experience delivering multiple Agile projects and removing blockers using the appropriate agile project management methodology
  • Experience defining the roadmap with the Product Owner for any given product and translating this into user stories
  • Experience prioritizing the user stories within product backlog
  • Experience managing a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience with testing to ensure quality levels
• Required Skills: Scrum Master, Agile certifications, Program/project mgt certifications or equivalent.
