Position Purpose |
With guidance from the Assistant Director, Operations and Admissions, manage operations, admissions, and administrative systems for Tuck Undergraduate Education, primarily for the Business Bridge program. Manages communications and relationships with prospective and enrolled students. Provides program management for in-person, virtual, and hybrid business education programs for undergraduate students according to Tuck's mission, strategy, and institutional priorities. |
Description |
The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth invites applicants for the position of operations, admissions and program experience manager for its growing portfolio of undergraduate programs. In this position you will facilitate operational processes and systems for Tuck's undergraduate programs, primarily for the Business Bridge Program. This position requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional communication skills, strong logistical planning and execution skills, the ability to work both independently and as a team, and the proficiency and judgement to assess a wide range of application materials.
At the Tuck Business Bridge Program, liberal arts students (including Dartmouth students and those matriculating at other liberal arts institutions throughout the U.S.) gain essential business skills, learn to leverage their education, and unlock new career opportunities. Business Bridge delivers a comprehensive curriculum taught by top-ranked
MBA faculty from the Tuck School. Coupled with a capstone team project, recruiting services, and one-on-one career guidance, the program prepares wise leaders to become the difference in the world of business and beyond. - 3-5 years of relevant experience in educational programming, project management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience using CRM systems for organizations with comparable institutional priorities and performance standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications, and ability to learn new digital tools as required by program needs
- Knowledge of professional office process administration and team-based project management and academic operations gained through a liberal arts education and/or work experience.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and oral presentation skills and abilities.
- Able to support, contribute to, and strengthen a vibrant, culturally diverse, and inclusive learning community of students, alumni, faculty, and fellow professionals.
- Able to anticipate, deliver on, and exceed the expectations of students and colleagues.
- Able to collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Dartmouth approved driver certification.
- Willingness to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays to facilitate programs while in session, and travel domestically as program needs require.

- Experience with project management and/or learning management systems (e.g., Canvas)

Key Accountabilities
Description |
1.
Admissions and Operations Administration
- Uses discretion to review prospective student applications in CRM system (Slate) to ensure completion based on established criteria including letters of recommendation, application essays, standardized test scores and transcripts while retaining confidentiality. Makes admissions decisions based on program criteria and standards. Advises students on application deadlines and program fit. Answers questions and verifies and/or collects missing information, handles discrepancies, and confirms payments are submitted by all students in a timely manner.
- Primary point of contact for prospective and enrolled participants. Responds to inquiries about upcoming offerings from students and families via the departmental phone line and multiple email accounts. Retains confidentiality.
- With guidance from and in partnership with the Assistant Director of Operations and Admissions, maintains and strengthens the integrity and optimization of a comprehensive applicant process experience from application submission through enrollment for all undergraduate programs via the program participant CRM system (Slate).
- Prepares program budgets for undergraduate programs in partnership with Assistant Dean and Tuck Finance according to P/L projections, including program fee revenues, gifts and endowment support, and expenses. Creates faculty compensation reports and establishes payment dates for undergraduate education programs in conjunction with Tuck Finance.

Program Development and Logistical Planning
- Manages logistical aspects of assigned undergraduate education programs, including venue selection, accommodations, catering, facilities, A/V and IT needs, materials, and staffing, ensuring seamless execution of all logistical arrangements before, during, and after each program. Prepares and distributes program materials, participant communications, pre- program information, and post-program evaluations, in digital and physical formats, and maintains accurate participant records through use of digital tools.
- Collaborates and communicates with internal and external colleagues and partners to relay program details and requirements and secures necessary resources and services for program delivery.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for program participants, faculty, and facilitators throughout program delivery experience, exhibiting a high level of independence, poise, and professionalism.
- Anticipate questions, needs, and issues and address them proactively to ensure a positive participant experience, seeking guidance from undergraduate education team as needed.
