We have an opportunity for a Materials Coordinator to join our Conroe, TX team. You will be responsible for material coordination (Master planning & Procurement and Sourcing) and production scheduling (Production control). Masterdata Management (Product information management) Support, and coordinate and oversee production and warehouse activities. You will:
- Handle Material Coordination (approx. 85%): Master planning and purchase order handling in AX, Create manual PO's when necessary, Maintain vendor database / contact persons, e-mail etc., Order confirmation and daily follow-up in AX, Invoice approvals, Production Scheduling in AX - Create production manually, Schedule production according to production dates, Maintain production plan in Excel
- Utilize Master Data Management in ERP system (Dynamics AX) (approx. 15%): New Item creation process, Secure good master data quality on new items, Item maintenance and review, Coordinate mass updates with Masterdata Specialist (UEDK), BOM maintenance, Support Inventory maintenance and warehouse, Documents and certificates (Technical documentation and Material certificates), Support Master Data governance (e.g. naming conventions and rules), Improve master data quality on existing/released Items, Including Trade data: HTS, Country of Origin, ECCN / Dual use. Coordinate with Trade compliance team including Maintain Country of Origin & Supplier declarations, Support After Market imports with required data.
Key Qualifications:
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a Coordinator within Supply Chain or Operations.
- Deep knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Preferable AX / ERP systems).
- Good communication skills.
- Being able to work across departments and within an international team. (Will work closely with our offices in Fredericia, Denmark and Venlo, Netherlands)
- Basic knowledge about Trade Compliance (international trade)
- Being able to intervene adequately in the event of problems occurring.
- Structured and methodic (when working with tasks, projects)
- Structured Problem solving skills and thinking.
- Comfortable with rules, regulations, governance and procedures.
Shift/Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 4:30pm (or 8:00am - 5:30pm)
- Friday: 7:00am - 11:00am (or 8:00am - 12:00pm)
Compensation: The hourly pay for this role is: $32.00/hr. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
