Symetra has an exciting new opportunity to join us as a Technology Credit Process Owner!

About the role
The Technology Credit Process Owner is responsible for overseeing, managing, and improving the end-to-end credit process related to technology solutions, products, and services within the organization. This role focuses on ensuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and risk mitigation of tech credit processes, especially in relation to compliance standards. The individual will work closely with multi-functional teams, including Finance, Compliance, Legal, and Underwriting, to ensure a streamlined, automated, and customer-centric tech credit process.

What you will do




  • Own the technology credit process from start to finish, ensuring it is scalable, efficient, and aligned with business goals.
  • Continuously assess the credit approval process, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation and improvement.
  • Ensure that the process for implementation and technology credits aligns with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Underwriting and Legal departments to ensure a flawless technology credit process for customers and internal collaborators.
  • Serve as the authority on all things related to implementation and technology credit, providing mentorship and training to internal teams on standard methodologies and process changes.
  • Ensure the credit process is customer-friendly, and provides a smooth, timely experience for customers.
  • Ensure client account manager is kept in the loop on all communications with the client
  • Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators related to invoicing and payment processes, such as approval time and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on process performance, improvements, and risk mitigation efforts.
  • Lead change management efforts, ensuring that all team members are advised and trained on new processes or systems.

Compensation
Salary Range: $77,600 - $129,400 plus eligibility for annual bonus program.

Who you are



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or equivalent education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience in financial process management or process ownership
  • Benefits Insurance experience is a plus
  • Proven track record in change management and process optimization.
  • Experience with customer invoicing and payment processes
  • Ability to communicate optimally with various stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data and concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
