The AUKUS Group, within SPA's Sea, Land, and Air Division, provides timely, objective, analytic assessments that integrate technical, operational, programmatic, policy and business analysis to NAVSEA's AUKUS Integration and Acquisition Program Office and associated partner organizations. Analysts and Engineers supporting AUKUS will continue SPA's decades of support to the undersea force and assist in developing a trilateral submarine force for the future. This is a high-profile, major international program of significant importance to the future of the US Navy and its partners in an era of renewed strategic competition.

SPA has an immediate need for an Office Administrator or EA supporting the AUKUS trilateral nuclear powered submarine program. #MC



Responsibilities

Your role as Office Administrator / Executive Assistant will be to manage day-to-day office activities in support of SPA and our Navy clients. In this role you will manage our peer sponsor program, in processing and out processing of AUKUS personnel, management of office and contract functions across a variety of areas including meetings, facilities, travel, and staff management. Additionally, this position will be dynamic in that, if needed you would be asked to fill in as an Executive Assistant at the Washington Navy Yard fulfilling duties that include managing schedules, meeting facilitation, and managing executive correspondence. This position is located at SPA Headquarters in Alexandria as well as the Washington Navy Yard.

At SPA, we strive to deliver a robust total compensation package that will attract and retain top talent. Elements of the compensation package include competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities. DC Pay Range, dependent upon candidate qualifications, is 90k-130k.



Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in business administration (or other relevant field)
  • 3+ years professional experience
  • Strong administrative, organizational and analytical skills and the willingness to learn
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Current DoD SECRET clearance and the ability to maintain it throughout employment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with executive scheduling, Defense Travel System, and front office suppor
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, autonomously with minimal supervision, and to multi-task, providing high quality services and products while meeting strict deadlines and time constraints
  • Experience working in an fast-paced office environment, with documentation, protocols, formats, and deadlines
