JOB ANNOUNCEMENT ASSISTANT DISTRICT MANAGER Department of Family and Support Services Number of Positions: 1 (additional vacancies possible pending budget approval) Starting Salary: $67,656.00 Applications for this position will be accepted until 11:59pm CDT on 4/30//2025 POSITION OVERVIEW: Assist in managing programs and services at a community service center, including supervising staff, implementing policies, evaluating program effectiveness, coordinating training, resolving client cases, and networking with community organizations aiming to improve the well-being and quality of life for Chicago residents. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a directly related field, plus three years of community or social service experience, of which one year is in a supervisory role related to the responsibilities of the position; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Licensure, Certification, or Other Qualifications
