Here's what you'd do:

  • Serves as a specialist in a group of technologies and services supported within technology.
  • Work closely with Technology management, senior Engineers, and support teams on a regular basis to implement and manage the design, development, and execution of technical solutions that meet or exceed the organization's current and future needs.
  • Responsibilities may include infrastructure architecture and design, research, and development of new or expanded systems, technology standards and policies, thorough analysis of user requirements and operational constraints, unit and system integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Regularly and independently interact with business partners of varying associate and management levels to clarify the problem/opportunity and elicit business requirements.
  • Coordinate vendor interactions or vendor resources as needed.
  • Mentor and coach less experienced engineers, technicians, and integrators.
  • Review documentation, proposals, and changes proposed by less experienced staff.
  • Seek to continuously expand knowledge and understanding of Financial Services trends, practices, and technologies.
  • Follow and promote industry best practices, standards, and procedures.
  • Maintain a good aptitude and working knowledge of Bank applications, systems, and development environments.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of vendor technologies and services used by the Bank.
  • Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with its Risk Appetite.
  • Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the client's brand.
  • Maintain the client's internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points and any issues raised by external regulators, as applicable.
  • Manage Windows operating system imaging and deployment.
  • Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate tasks, streamline operations, and improve endpoint security.
  • The client is seeking a well-rounded Desktop Engineer with a good focus on Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to join our End-User Computing team.
  • This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing endpoint systems, ensuring secure and efficient operation of devices across the enterprise.
  • This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the end-user experience and support enterprise-wide technology initiatives.
  • Oversee the daily operations of SCCM and Intune, managing software deployments, patching, compliance policies, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain Windows desktop standards, configurations, and policies to ensure secure and optimized endpoint management.
  • Implement security policies, authentication standards, and conditional access rules for endpoint security and device compliance.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network configurations to improve system performance.
  • Work closely with Security, Infrastructure, and Support teams to ensure seamless operations and timely issue resolution.
  • Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles.
  • Lead and contribute to medium-to-large-scale IT projects focused on endpoint management and security improvements.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $53.20 - $88.65/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week.

Length: Temporary (12 Months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years experience in the system development and infrastructure lifecycle, vendor best practices, and IT Service Management.

  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in a technical engineering position involving infrastructure design technologies, data management, interchange, or development for complex applications.
  • Ability to translate complex business and functional requirements into structured, high-quality implementations using any variety of industry-standard approaches.
